It’s been really long since my last post here, but I have a good excuse for that. I’ve been really sick with the worst flu for 2 weeks. I was just not getting any better.
So this weekend I could finally get out of home and go to a friend’s place for the night.
The outfit is simple for a casual get together with a couple of friends. Sometimes that’s all you need 🙂
I bought these earrings many years ago and I love them. Cute and unique!
I know it’s not the season for summary flats anymore but I was in the mood for something light and these Nine West flats are perfect for that and they match my sweater pretty well.
Well, my friends, stay healthy 😉

I got a new project in Chicago for the next one month and I’m very excited about it. I love this city! It’s like a clean, beautiful New York (no offense to NY lovers!). But happy to be out of here before the crazy winter begins.
The weather is already pretty cold so I decided to go with a tweed, warm skirt and leggings for my first day on project here. The skirt is both warm and stylish and also have a professional look for office. Hope you like the look 😉

No need to say I fall in love with shoes easily, I guess every girl does. But these boots were something else! They were soul mates kind of love .. hahaha. Funny thing is I wore them 2 nights after I bought them and saw my friend wearing the exact same boots for the first one as well!!
They’re Franco Sarto and I bought them last year at DSW. I think DSW and Nordstrom are among the few places selling Franco Sarto items.
I paired them with a very simple casual outfit for a weekend night out with friends. Tried to add some color by using turquoise accessories.
BTW, how do you like my new shade of Estee Lauder lipstick?

I spent a couple of days in Ann Arbor, MI last week. Such a cute college town! This was my first time in Michigan and I always wanted to visit MI in fall, heard so much about the colorful trees. Well, it was as nice as I heard about. The colors were amazing.
Had the best chorizo sandwich at this place called Frita Batidos …
…and saw a couple of “fairy doors”!
All in all, great trip. I was there for a business event and here’s the outfit for the day.

I’m getting ready for fall with some online shopping from my favorite stores. Doesn’t online shopping make life so much easier? It’s not about saving time by not driving to the mall, actually that’s the part I miss since I like looking around the stores. But for me it’s the convenience of seeing everything in one place, filtering by the colors I want, comparing all stores. . .
So these are some of the stuff I bought online this week. Can’t wait to wear all these beautiful colors 🙂
Also, I bought Chanel Allure perfume. I really really liked the scent. Has anyone tried it before?
Today’s outfit is from this past weekend. I went out with 2 other girlfriends. We meant to do a girls night out for a long time, well, originally it was supposed to involve seeing Magic Mike XXL! LOL…Too late for that now! But we had a really fun night going to a couple of bars in downtown Pittsburgh. Any good ideas for girls night out?
Here’s the outfit for that night. Hope you like it 🙂
BTW, I just today got to understand what “#OOTD” stands for … hahaha

There are so many good movies on screen now and fortunately I happen to have plenty of time to watch them. I went to see The Martian a couple of nights ago with friends and I found it good movie.
In the last scene of the movie, Matt Damon is giving a speech and says, you have to solve problems one at a time, get to the next problem, and if you can solve enough problems you can come back home. I really loved this part! Sometimes we look at a giant life problem and there’s no way to solve it, but when you break it down and just worry about one at a time, chances are you can solve the bigger problem.
Anyways, enough with life problems 🙂 Here’s the outfit I wore to the movies. I like to dress up casual outfits with a tiny touch of nice accessories so you still look stylish with very simple top and pants. Hope you like it 😉
BTW, any other good movies you’ve seen recently?

A little about my job … I’m a healthcare consultant working for one of the biggest consulting firms. I’m usually traveling 4 days a week and come back home Thursday nights and spend the weekend at home. It’s tough to be living out of your suitcase all the time but you’ll get to see a lot of places and well, gather a lot of points and miles.
One of the challenges is packing pieces of clothes and shoes that you can use in different combinations so you don’t have to carry a big luggage every week. One of those must have pieces is a nice black blazer! Traveling or not, it can be your best friend. When you want to dress professionally it can make your casual tops formal, and when you’re just out with friends, it’s a great layering option when it gets a bit chilly. So, go take the money out of your pink piggy bank and invest in a good black blazer 😉

Let me start with … “I’m terrible at selfies!”. Unlike most girls these days, I just don’t take selfies and when I do I look horrible 🙂
But I guess for the purposes of this blog I need to get better at it or find other ways to share pictures with you. So any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
I don’t consider myself expert or anything like that when it comes to fashion but I think my choice of wardrobe isn’t too bad. I’d love to share my clothing choices with you and get your comments on how I can make it better, what you liked and honest feedback on when I look like an idiot!
So … let’s start with the first post! I think these pictures actually show the last time I could wear a sleeveless top outdoors this year.
Wait! Did I say I look terrible in selfies? :)) well, you can also see a little bit of my apartment here.
Before I get to the details of each piece, I matched the top and jeans with these cute coral flats and purse that night.
Top: old NY&Co. top. Here’s a very similar option and another one

Flats: old Calvin Klein. Here are some cute options: Audrey Brooke, Lucky and Steve Madden
